RESEARCH AROUND MINORITY WOMEN'S EXPERIENCE
Can You Help By Sharing Your Experience?
A Master's student from the University of Nottingham is conducting a research project exploring minority women’s menopause experiences. Niroshi Romina Alles would like to hear from perimenopausal/menopausal women about their experiences. The study aims to address the following questions: how women describe and interpret their experiences of menopause, how they respond to and manage symptoms, and how these experiences shape their decisions about seeking support.
Data will be collected through semi-structured video interviews, which will be audio-recorded for analysis purposes only. Participants will be given the opportunity to review whether the analysis accurately reflects their experiences. The project is expected to be completed and submitted in September.
Individuals can register their interest by clicking the link below. Those who wish to proceed will receive a participant information sheet, followed by a consent form and video calls via Teams will be arranged. » Read more

David spent those same years watching his wife change into a shell of herself, and not understanding why. Together, they nearly lost their marriage before either of them had a name for what was happening. » Read more
